The Bishop’s Inspection

A Bishop decided to pay a surprise visit to a local parish to inspect how well the children’s Sunday School class was doing. He walked into the classroom, his grand and solemn presence instantly silencing all the children.

To test the kids, the Bishop stood at the front of the room, folded his arms, and asked in a booming voice, “Who knocked down the walls of Jericho?”

The entire room became dead silent. The children looked at each other in sheer terror. Finally, a little boy slowly raised his trembling hand, burst into tears, and sobbed, “Please, Bishop, I swear it wasn’t me! I just transferred to this school last week!”

The Bishop was absolutely stunned by the response. He turned around to look at the local priest standing in the corner, his face filled with disappointment.

Seeing the Bishop’s gaze, the priest scratched his head nervously, stepped forward, and said, “Your Excellency, please don’t be angry. I know this boy’s family very well. The kids can be a bit mischievous, but they are incredibly honest. If he says he didn’t do it, then he definitely didn’t do it.”

Furious and exasperated, the Bishop cancelled the inspection and immediately drove back to his diocese. He wrote an angry letter to the church’s Board of Directors, complaining about the terrible lack of education in the parish.

A week later, the Bishop received a formal reply from the Chairman of the Board:
“Dear Bishop, we have received your complaint regarding the incident with the walls of Jericho. Our board does not wish to argue over who knocked them down anymore. We have officially allocated $5,000 from the church budget to fix the wall and put an end to the matter. We hope this sets your mind at ease.”

I am a very lucky man.

My girlfriend and I had been together for over a year and had decided to get married.

I had only one problem: her attractive younger sister. My future sister-in-law was 22 years old and almost always wore tight T-shirts—usually without a br@. Every time she bent over, you had… let’s just say: a very good view. What surprised me was that she only seemed to act this way around me.

One day my future sister-in-law called me. She wanted to show me the wedding invitations.

When I arrived, she was home alone. She quietly told me she had feelings for me. She explained that she desired me and only wanted to be with me once – before I married her sister. I was completely speechl-ess.

Then she said:

– “I’m going upstairs to my room now. When you’re ready for the adventure, just follow me.”

I stood there paralyzed, watching her go. After a moment, I turned around, ran to the front door, and jumped into my car.

Suddenly:
My entire future family was standing outside and applauding.

With tears in his eyes, my father-in-law took me in his arms and said:

– “We’re so glad you passed our little test. We couldn’t have wished for a better husband for our daughter. Welcome to the family!”

Moral of the story:

Always keep your c0nd0ms in the car – not in your jacket pocket.
