The Taxi Driver and the Minister

A dedicated church minister and a New York City taxi driver both passed away at the exact same moment and found themselves standing together at the Pearly Gates of Heaven.

Saint Peter greeted them warmly and looked at his ledger. He turned to the taxi driver first and said, “Welcome, my son. Step forward.” Saint Peter then handed the taxi driver a magnificent, shimmering silk robe embroidered with pure gold thread, and a solid gold staff encrusted with diamonds. “You may enter the Kingdom of Heaven in luxury,” Saint Peter smiled.

Next, Saint Peter turned to the minister. He handed him a plain, simple cotton robe and a wooden walking stick.

The minister was stunned. He cleared his throat and said, “Excuse me, Saint Peter, but there must be a mistake. That man was a reckless taxi driver who sped through the streets and ran red lights. I, on the other hand, was a devoted minister who preached the Word of God every single Sunday for forty long years! Why does he get a gold robe and I get plain cotton?”

“Ah, minister, here in Heaven, we work purely on a performance-based results system. Think about it: When you preached, people slept. But when that man drove, everyone prayed!“

A bodybuilder was proud of his perfectly tanned, muscular body—but there was one little problem.
No matter how much time he spent in the sun, one particular part stubbornly remained pale.
So he came up with a brilliant solution.
He went to the beach, buried himself in the warm sand, and left only that one little part exposed to the sun.
He was lying there peacefully when two elderly ladies happened to walk by.
One of them stopped, poked the exposed part gently with her cane, and sighed.
“There is truly no justice in this world.”
Her friend looked confused.
“What on earth do you mean?”
The old woman shook her head sadly and began counting on her fingers.
“At 20, I was curious.”
“At 30, I enjoyed it.”
“At 40, I demanded it.”
“At 50, I paid for it.”
“At 60, I prayed for it.”
“At 70, I forgot all about it.”
She pointed at the unfortunate sunbather and sighed dramatically.
“And now that I’m 80… those things are growing wild on the beach!”
She paused, looked down at her knees, and added:
“Too bad I’m too old to squat!”

He Finally Told Her His Name… Big Mistake!

A man boarded an aeroplane and took his seat.

As he settled in, he glanced up and saw the most beautiful woman boarding the plane.

He soon realized she was heading straight towards his seat.

As fate would have it, she took the seat right beside his.

Eager to strike up a conversation he blurted out, ‘Business trip or pleasure?

She turned, smiled and said,

‘Business. I’m going to the Annual Nymphom@niacs of America C0nventi0n in Boston’.

He swallowed hard.

Here was the most gorgeous woman he had ever seen sitting next to him, and she was going to a meeting of nymphom@niacs.

Struggling to maintain his composure, he calmly asked,
