Most people immediately choose one of those two numbers.
Some quickly count 14.
Others take a second look and decide there must be 15.

Before checking the answer, take another close look at the picture.
Don’t simply count the large pears you can see at first glance. When objects are packed tightly together, some can easily hide behind others.
