Eve’s Unexpected Reward
God was putting the finishing touches on creation and had just two leftover traits. He decided to let Adam and Eve choose who got what.
“The first trait,” God announced, “is the ability to pee standing up.”
Before God could even finish, Adam started jumping up and down like an excited schoolboy. “Oh, please give that to me! It’s perfect for a man! Please, please, please!”
Eve smiled graciously and shrugged. “If he wants it that badly, let him have it.”
So, God granted Adam his wish. Adam immediately went wild with excitement—whizzing against a rock, writing his name in the sand, and shouting, “Look, Eve, I’m a lawn sprinkler!”
God and Eve watched his chaotic victory lap in amused silence. Finally, God turned to Eve and sighed, “Well, I guess that leaves you with the very last trait.”
“What’s that?” Eve asked.
God smiled and replied:
“Brains.”
The Sleeping Deacon’s Ballot
During a Sunday sermon, an elderly deacon sitting in the front row was snoring loudly. Annoyed by the distraction, the pastor decided to play a little prank to teach him a lesson.
He whispered softly into the microphone:
– “Anyone who wants to go to heaven, please stand up.”
The entire congregation stood up, except for the sleeping deacon. The pastor motioned for everyone to sit back down quietly, then leaned in close to the microphone and boomed at the top of his lungs:
– “AND ANYONE WHO WANTS TO GO TO HELL, STAND UP!”
The thunderous shout jolted the old deacon awake, and he instinctively bolted upright. He looked around in confusion, seeing the entire church sitting completely still and staring back at him, with only him and the pastor left standing face-to-face.
Without breaking a sweat, the old man smoothed his beard and said loudly:
– “Well, Pastor, I didn’t quite catch what we were voting on… But looking at the results, it seems like you and I are the only ones on the same team!”
A Missed Opportunity of Biblical Proportions
A priest was driving down a sunny country road when he spotted a beautiful young nun waiting at a bus stop. He pulled over and gladly offered her a lift.
As she climbed into the passenger seat and buckled her seatbelt, her habit parted slightly, revealing a stunning leg. The priest caught a glimpse and nearly drove the car straight into a ditch. After regaining control of the vehicle, temptation got the better of him, and he subtly slid his hand onto her knee.
The nun looked at him calmly and said, “Father, remember Psalm 129.”
Flustered and embarrassed, the priest instantly pulled his hand back, apologizing profusely. But a few miles later, while shifting gears, the temptation became too much to bear, and his hand wandered right back up her thigh.
The nun warned him again, “Father, remember Psalm 129!”
“I am so sorry, Sister,” the priest stammered, quickly retreating. “The flesh is weak.”
When they arrived at the convent, the nun got out of the car, gave him a deeply meaningful glance, and walked inside.
The moment the priest arrived back at his church, he rushed to the altar, grabbed a Bible, and frantically flipped open to Psalm 129.
The verse read:
“Go forth and seek; further up you will find glory.”
